Usenet is so much better than torrents

bbs you dial into i think and it has an application or a menu with applications, and a news group is differnt servers i think. or maybe a news group i sliek a forum but kind of like slash dot or digg.. idk. i dialed into a bbs once on some guys network and he offered free access to the net through it accept without the world wide web

And what’s the difference between a BBS and a Newsgroup?

I heard of this new p2p network that let people share information, opinions, and even advertise to peers on the network. I had downloaded the client software Herald, I must say its verrrry impressive! For you people who wants to check it out, the p2p network is call Global Herald Network which was just launched on 6/20/08.
